TOGETHER WITH
Good morning, Annapolis. Happy Earth Day. We gotta treat it right because just like Tom Cruise’s face in Top Gun, it’s the only one we got.
In today’s Naptown Scoop:

Let’s get to it.

Scoop’s Christmas Candle earns $3,650 for Annapolis Hope 🕯️
So it’s been a while since Christmas but we’re stoked to report the results of our second Christmas Candle fundraiser. We teamed up with Annapolis Candle again and brought in Wildberry Farm to feature their famous Vintage Christmas Market. The candles were beautiful and smelled even better.
Thanks to everyone who bought one, two, or even ten! Because of your generous purchases, we raised $3,650 for Annapolis Hope. I’m proud to say we are well on our way to raising $247,000 to keep the Mireles family in their home. But we still need your help. To learn more and how we need help, visit annapolishope.com.

She will work with you to create a customized treatment plan that achieves the nose shape you desire while maintaining facial harmony.

DYK Tai Chi is believed to boost the immune system, slow the aging process, and relieve stress? According to Harvard Med School, it’s one of the 5 best exercises. Good thing World Tai Chi Day is this Saturday (4/27). People around the world will celebrate at different times, moving in a wave around the earth. Join the Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi from 10–11 AM at the Severna Park Community Center. They’ll offer demos of Tai Chi and Qigong (another form of Chinese exercise) and mini-workshops, all held outside under the trees. Open to all ages and fitness levels. Learn more.

Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company (161 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park) is hosting again. Attendees will meet environmental and animal welfare orgs, as well as physical and mental wellness providers. There’s also a native plant sale and upcycled goods for sale. And if you need less stuff, not more, in your house, they’re accepting lots of tough to get rid of stuff for re-homing or responsible disposal.
Nothing in this section is sponsored. They're just the things you need to know. I'll always let you know when something's sponsored.
