THE DIGEST
Luminis Health AAMC Kudos 🏥👏
Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center (LHAAMC) was named a 2024–2025 Best Hospital by U.S. News & World Report! The Annapolis-based health system ranked No. 8 in Maryland and No. 6 in the Baltimore Metro Area. LHAAMC was recognized as a high-performing hospital in 8 specialties for procedures, including cardiac care, cancer services, and orthopedics.
The Annapolis Tea Party 🔥
What’s the deal with a ship that burned 250 years ago? The Burning of the Peggy Stewart in 1774 is considered Maryland’s first major revolutionary event which led to the founding of the United States. It marked the moment colonists in Annapolis formally got on board (so to speak) with the revolt against Britain.
So this fall, the Peggy Stewart 250 Committee invites you to commemorate this pivotal Maryland moment with a living history reenactment. The reenactment is set for October 19 at 7 PM and involves a replica-era brig and a stunning drone show. Learn more here.

LOCAL BUSINESS
X-Golf Annapolis tees up 🏌️♂️
It doesn’t matter what the weather is like outside — it’s always a good day for golfing inside at X-Golf Annapolis, which officially opened yesterday.
The state-of-the-art facility offers seven simulator bays where you can hit a real golf ball into a high-impact screen at digital replicas of world-renowned courses (and a pretty fun fictional one, too). Book a tee time here — 167 Jennifer Rd, Suite Y, Annapolis, MD
Meg Fox Aesthetics now open 🙌🏻
Remember when we spilled the tea on Beacon Square, the new mixed-use development project in Annapolis? Well, Meg Fox Aesthetics is one of the new businesses there, and it officially opened on July 10. Owner Meg Fox, PA, is excited to open a location in her hometown and looks forward to supporting the local community and its businesses.
Together with her team of advanced practice providers, they offer services like neurotoxins (Botox or Dysport), dermal fillers (Juvederm or Restylane), Skinvive, Sculptra, and Microneedling. The best part? These are all non-surgical cosmetic procedures that yield natural-looking results. We’re feeling younger already! 💖
