SPONSORED BY MURTHY FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY
Forehead Reduction For A More Balanced Facial Appearance
Achieve the facial harmony you’ve always envisioned with hairline lowering, a specialized procedure designed to enhance your natural beauty. By reducing the size of your forehead, this surgery restores balance, helping key features like your eyes and smile stand out while maintaining a youthful appearance.
Dr. Namita Murthy, a double board-certified plastic surgeon, takes an individualized approach to every patient. She creates a treatment plan that may combine multiple techniques to ensure total facial harmony. Hairline lowering not only reduces forehead size but can also give the appearance of a denser hairline, making your hair look fuller, without affecting its texture.
At Murthy Facial Plastic Surgery, we believe in results that feel authentically you. Dr. Murthy’s precision and artistry will leave you feeling refreshed, balanced, and more confident than ever.
Talk to Dr. Murthy today to schedule a personalized consultation and discover how hairline lowering can transform your appearance. Follow @drnamitamurthy to see more amazing transformations and stay inspired!
THE DIGEST
Keep Maryland Beautiful Grants 🌳
Got an idea for a project to beautify our local environment? If your idea supports environmental conservation or protects natural resources, there could be a grant for that! In fact, there’s $327K available through the Keep Maryland Beautiful Grant Program, and applications are open now through November 15.
This program is a collaboration between the Chesapeake Bay Trust with the Maryland Depts. of Natural Resources, Transportation, and Agriculture. It’s perfect for nonprofit orgs, volunteer groups, communities, and land trusts. Check the program’s website for details and apply via Chesapeake Bay Trust.
🚨 It’s just a drill 🚨
Don’t forget that you might get a notification from the Annapolis Office of Emergency Management tomorrow via call, text, or email. This is a test of the Alert Annapolis Community Notification System, which will allow the city to send out important updates in the event of urgent situations like
🌡 Severe weather
⛈ Natural disasters
🦠 Public health alerts
The alert will go out around 2 PM tomorrow. Beforehand, make sure your info is updated.
Community Interpreter Certificate Program 🗣️
Know a multilingual marvel? If yes, AACPS is launching a Community Interpreter Certificate Program to help bilingual students develop skills to increase communication in schools, offices, and more. Students will learn about interpreting techniques, the ethics of acting as an interpreter in work settings, and the differences between professional interpretation and other language-based careers. For $753, participants get materials, exam fees, and 50 hours of instruction. Depending on proficiency, students can earn one of three levels of interpreter certificates.
Requirements:
Anne Arundel County resident
Bilingual in English + one target language at the advanced low proficiency level
High school juniors or seniors must meet extra Maryland Seal Of Biliteracy requirements
Interested? Register for the Community Interpreter Certificate Program (and other noncredit courses)!
Emergency Preparedness Survey 📊
The City of Annapolis wants to know how you feel when it comes to community-wide emergencies — what are the biggest threats, how prepared are you, and what steps are you taking? This helps city government determine what the needs are, and your information will be kept confidential. Take the survey.
