Thomas Point Lighthouse Tour, local wins game show, TikTok star returns...
TOGETHER WITH
Good morning, Annapolis. Happy birthday to the most handsome Ryan in the world. . . Ryan Reynolds.
In todayâs Naptown Scoop:
Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse tour
Local game show winner
TikTok star returns for special video
Letâs get to it.
âRyan Sneddon & Rebecca Kraybill

Have you seen inside the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse?
TPSL (as the locals call it) is a local treasure. Itâs the only screw-pile lighthouse on the Bay in its original location. Itâs on the National Register of Historic Places. And it was the last manned lighthouse on the Chesapeake Bay until it was automated in 1986.
We had the chance to tour the inside last week thanks to an invite from Bay photographer extraordinaire David Sites. Have you been inside? If not, click here to come along!
Weâll be posting a video of the tour later today so be sure to follow Scoop on Instagram so you donât miss it.

Local wins big on new game show
Remember the whole Is it cake trend? FOXâs new show Snake Oil plays on that same concept. Contestants team up with celebrities and hear Shark Tank-style product pitches. Some are real. Some are a sham. And thereâs big money on the line.
Turns out Annapolis resident Fish Stark was a contestant on Snake Oil last week. He was paired with actor Will Arnett who helped him win $40,000. It wasnât the grand prize, but Fish said it will go a long way towards popping the question to his girlfriend.
Annapolis-born TikTok star returns
Isabel LaRosa grew up in our beloved little small town. Now sheâs 19, signed to a music label, and has 560,000 followers on TikTok. Sounds a lot like the storyline of a certain Kenny Chesney song.
Isabel returned to her favorite hometown haunt (AKA Double T Diner) last month for a special concert filmed for TikTok. She sang while her brother Thomas played guitar. After many years together in Annapolis, the siblings now live and collaborate together in LA. ($)

Cut to the Chase
Chase Bank just opened a new branch at 920 Bay Ridge Road, where Bank of America was for decades. When that bank packed up, Rosso Commercial helped secure the property for Chase. Congrats to Rosso for the deal, congrats to Chase on the new digs, and congrats to the Forest Drive area Chase customers who no longer have to drive to Parole for free lollipops.

Navy defense stands tall, offense flounders against Air Force
While Navyâs defense only gave up 17 points to a #22 ranked Air Force on Saturday (aided by some very strong winds for two missed field goals), the offense couldnât get anything going. The Mids gained just 124 yards â over half coming on a late 78-yard drive that did nothing except prevent a shutout. It was Navyâs worst rushing game since 1994. Bill Wagner has more in his post-game breakdown. Stay tuned for the Navy Football Podcast recap later this week. ($)
