An Unreplicable Opportunity

You can’t build one like this anymore. 168 W Lake is a one-of-a-kind dream property in Bay Ridge.

It’s one of the largest lots in Bay Ridge and trees on either side provide extra privacy. Down at the lake, it has an absolutely epic deep water dock with a huge boathouse. There’s also a waterside pool and observation deck for your stunning lake and Bay views.

Inside you have 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms spread across 4,200+ square feet. With oversized, thoughtfully-placed windows, almost every room enjoys lake views. And its well-planned layout means the home can handle large groups, intimate gatherings, and daily family living with ease.

168 W Lake isn’t just a rare find, it’s an unreplicable opportunity in the most prestigious neighborhood in Annapolis. Contact Brad Kappel to make it yours today.

Spa Creek improving after leak

Remember when 300,000 gallons of sewage leaked into Spa Creek last week? Researchers say the water quality is improving. On 8/24, a water reading found 19,700 units of colony-forming enterococci per 100 milliliters. That’s . . . not good. Anything over 104 isn’t safe for swimming. On 8/31, only one area on Spa Creek was unsafe at 200. The city will use data from Spa Creek Conservancy moving forward to monitor levels.

  • Alderwoman Elly Tierney says the city will inspect and clean sanitary sewer mains in several areas over the next two weeks.

Rotary accepting Crab Feast grant applications

1,100 hungry attendees made the 78th Rotary Club of Annapolis Crab Feast on 8/4 a success. And local nonprofits were just as happy as the guests because the feast raises funds to support them. The Rotary is now accepting grant applications for up to $4,000 in funding. Applicants must be a 501c3 organization to be eligible. Apply by October 1 at 5 PM.

⚠️ Night work on US 50 E

Night owls beware. The State Highway Administration is resurfacing sections of eastbound US 50 at night for the next month or so. You’ll notice single and double lane closures as well as ramp closures if you’re driving 9 PM–5 AM Saturdays through Thursdays (bless you 😴).

  • Affected sections include a one-mile section eastbound between Whitehall Road and Oceanic Drive, the eastbound ramp from Busch’s Frontage Road to Pointless Forest Trail, and the interchange that leads to Sandy Point State Park.
