Purple Cherry-renovated waterfront living in Severna Park

Not all waterfront homes are created equal. If you ever get the chance to own one that Purple Cherry Architects had any part in, you’ll know that. Which is why Brad Kappel is excited to feature 432 Maureen Lane this week.

It’s a 3-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home in the desirable Berry wood Community. Purple Cherry completed a total renovation in 2016 that looks as good today as the day it was finished. And with over 160 feet of water frontage on serene Cattail Creek, there are calming water views from nearly every room.

Inside features include a gourmet kitchen, vaulted ceilings, a screened porch, and primary suite with floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside there’s direct access to your private pier which includes a boat lift. And don’t forget the community amenities – a pool, sports fields, tennis courts, and a marina.

THE DIGEST

Fire Prevention Month 🔥🚫

Smoke is no joke — in fact, where’s there’s smoke (as the saying goes), there’s fire. It’s one of the reasons the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) says a working smoke alarm can reduce the risk of fire-related fatalities in the home by 54%. In observance of Fire Protection Month in October, the Annapolis Fire Department encourages you to follow these 3 safety tips from NFPA:

👉 Install a smoke alarm in every bedroom, outside each sleeping area, and on every level of your home.
👉 Test the smoke alarm at least once a month.
👉 Replace all smoke alarms when they’re 10 years old or if they stop responding when tested.

🔎 Did you know: This week (October 6-12) is Fire Prevention Week, so the Annapolis Fire Department is visiting local schools to talk with students about importance of fire safety. You can always make a public education request with AFD via its online form.
