TOGETHER WITH

Good morning, Annapolis. This is Naptown Scoop, the only email you look forward to reading when you get back from vacation.

In today’s Naptown Scoop:

  • Best Stories from June 🕶️

  • Countdown to July 4th 🎇

  • Weekly Keep-Kids-Busy List 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Let’s get to it.

— Lauren Burke Meyer, Dylan Roche, & Ryan Sneddon

Meet Dr. Christine Santayana - A new local women’s doctor!

She’s local, loves dance fitness and hiking, and she’s a new local women's Doctor-Urogynecology. What’s that? They’re pretty rare in Annapolis.

Dr. Santayana specializes in female pelvic health and treats problems like overactive bladder, stress incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. Many women don’t realize that these issues aren’t normal and, more importantly, that they’re treatable. When dealing with personal matters like these, Dr. Santayana’s goal is to create a trusting environment and relationship with her patients.

Chesapeake Urology’s Annapolis clinic provides a range of services, from routine check-ups and preventive care to diagnosis and treatment of complex urological conditions. She has an office and surgery center in Annapolis where she can meet, diagnose, treat, and perform procedures all in the same spot (bloodwork, ultrasound, surgery). It’s a one-stop shop. Starting treatment may sound intimidating, but many are minimally invasive. Since she’s new, Dr. Santayana has same-week availability. Check out her full bio.

🏢 Beacon Square: What’s the deal?
We got the inside info on the new mixed-used development taking shape on Riva Rd. Check out the article for all the details including 12 retail and restaurants that will be moving in!

Smiles Creating Smiles

Smile reveals are one of our favorite moments at Annapolis Orthodontics. Moments like this, when Bria sees her new smile for the first time, bring so much joy.

When we asked if we could show this moment to Scoop readers, Bria’s mom said, “You absolutely can! Bria loves her smile so much, she’s smiling that wide every day!”

And that’s why we love what we do 😊.

Take the first step toward your or your child’s new smile.
