Pusser’s Goodbye Tour 🍹

We’re not crying. You’re crying! Ok, full disclosure . . . Lauren did tear up writing this. 😢 It’s not easy saying goodbye to the iconic Pusser’s Caribbean Grille after three decades along Ego Alley. Before it closes on October 31 and Atlas’ two new restaurants (Marmo and Armada) take over, we’re taking a walk down memory lane. From romances to celebrity sightings – and all the shenanigans in between – we’ve heard it all. We received an outpour of memories from staff and customers. And, we’re not just talking about the world-famous Painkiller Rum drinks. 🍹

🎉 Party Alert: Get the scoop on the Boat Show Bash on Friday, October 11 at Pusser’s too. Join the goodbye tour and read our Farewell to Pusser’s.

Restoration catches eyes at Sailboat Show

Yes, the Annapolis Sailboat Show is the place to see gorgeous catamarans and monohulls. But this year’s showstopper boat is actually a much different type of stunner: a 1975 Cape Dory Typhoon restoration by Muller Marine. The 18-foot sailboat is the project of Corey Blazevich, Muller Marine’s owner since 2020, who took the boat off his landlord’s hands when it was left sitting at a marina.

Blazevich and his team invested countless hours and over $10,000 in the project, bringing her back to her original glory. With the success of the restoration, the team decided to bring Muller Marine to the Sailboat Show for the first time ever and showcase opportunities for further projects. “I want to show the area that we can do more than just bottom painting and simple work,” he told the Capital Gazette. “We can do full restorations.” ($)

WHAT’S HAPPENIN’

Foodie Friday 🍦🦀🍹

🚨 Warning: Hunger pains ahead. 🚨

Cozy Cafes ☕️ 🥐 Call us cozy, but we love a good pumpkin-spiced anything. 🎃

  • Bakers & Co: This time of year, sitting al fresco with a coffee and Almond Croissant while you people watch is hard to beat! The orange cinnamon market buns, plus cranberry or pumpkins scones are giving us fall vibes. Note, they’re currently only open Friday to Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM. See their menu and order ahead. — 618 Chesapeake Ave, Annapolis, MD

  • The Big Bean: Coffee lovers will find all sorts of options – hot, iced, or frozen. Ask for the Autumn Spice Latte: gingerbread, cinnamon, and pumpkin topped with cozy fall spices. Aka fall in a cup. Grab a Breakfast Cookie or an Apple Cider muffin to go with it. Then, walk behind the coffee shop and sit at a table along the B&A trail. — 558 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD

Das ist Fondue!

🧀 Oktober FondueFest is back at The Melting Pot and it’s meatier and cheesier than ever! It starts off with Bavarian Beer Cheese Fondue, featuring a festive way to dip with hot-off-the-grill bratwurst, braised short rib, summer sausage, and more. Enjoy a salad and Black Forest Chocolate Fondue. Costs $45/person (4 course options also available for $63). Minimum purchase of two required for three- and four-course options. Add a Sam Adams Octoberfest beer, new Oktoberfest-inspired cocktails, or a glass of German wine. Make your reservations now. No passport required. — 2348 Solomons Island Rd, Annapolis, MD

Fall for Ice Cream 🍦

Annapolis Ice Cream Company 🎃+🍞=🍦 : They may be sold out of Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream, but they just stocked up on Pumpkin Bread. Our sources say they should have this flavor throughout the weekend. Our advice? Go sooner, rather than later! — 196 Main Street, Annapolis, MD
